Last night I was thinking and if I do say so myself they were some pretty deep thoughts. I thought to myself I wish I had a blog cause somebody out there has to relate to what I’m saying. I went to sleep thinking I’ll make one tomorrow. I woke up this morning and couldn’t remember not one dang thing that I pondered last night.

But some stuff I’ve been thinking about is of course fall semester of college starting among other things. I need new music, maybe a new phone, basically just something new.

I know we’re in a recession and stuff but I didn’t truly realize until this summer how much the recession affects me. I used to hear “College is unaffordable” and that sentiment is so true. Books alone for one semester can be $400! Even if I made $10/hour (which I don’t) that’s 40 hours of work for some books I won’t use but for four months! The reality of universities being a business aside, the only reason this irks me is because with billion dollar endowments, you think they’d at least try to act like they had the student’s best interest in mind. But whatever.

I think I want a blackberry. I thought Iphone users were part of a cult? No. Blackberry users are. The reason you don’t hear about them is because Blackberry users are truly devoted to their blackberry and don’t care if you are or not. Iphone users, like most Apple product devotees, are more devoted to the brand than the phone. Nothing against the Iphone, it’s still cool. I’m just saying.

Anyway. For a first post, I’m relatively proud. Hopefully I update regularly. We’ll see.
