I’m Michelle Huxtable. The name is essentially what the tag line says, “A little Michelle Obama & a little Clair Huxtable.” It truly isn’t something you are, it’s something you constantly aspire to be.  I once told someone, “Basically I want to be Michelle Obama with a side of Claire Huxtable and sprinkle some Oprah on top.” So that’s what I’m trying to be.

What is that? Who is Michelle Obama? She’s just a woman. (No disrespect. Stay with me here.) She’s just a woman from the South Side of Chicago… who went to Princeton… then Harvard. Then went back to Chicago to work. Yes there’s billions of other things she’s done and there are books and articles out there about it. But focus on that part. She started where any underdog story starts, got out, “made it”, and returned to make that place better.

Who is Claire (or Clair) Huxtable? Claire Huxtable is a wife, mother, and lawyer. She’ll tell you about yourself and then make you coffee. Raised five children in Brooklyn, New York and became partner at her law firm. Yeah. That just happened.

Michelle is the business. Claire is the fun. Together they get business done.
